Christmas 2021 theme

My Christmas 2021 WordPress website theme is nearly complete. Just taking care of some little issues that most will never know of and then hopefully tackle the looming black eye of a menuing system on the desktop side. Other than that, I think it looks pretty sweet, on all platforms; desktop, tablet and ….. phone.

 

It’s my fist theme that I have truly tailored for the little bitty portrait display things (computers are landscape viewed). One little annoyance on phones is that sometimes screens have to be squeezed to display correctly. Then again, sometimes they don’t. I haven’t figured it out yet. Also, the Season Greetings message/article/post didn’t carry over well and will need some.

There’s a bunch of eye candy in this theme. Fun and challenging but this type of stuff, stuff that really doesn’t matter, that sometimes becomes the things that teach you the most. The snowflakes that are on the desktop are disabled on mobiles. I think they were interfering with interacting with the screen ( I think I was pressing snowflakes when I meant to press menus, buttons and so forth ). The menuing system on the desktop looks neat and is fun but is also impractical because it takes up so much realestate that it would be frustrating and impracticable to use in a business or high traffic website.

 

Well, enjoy my Christmas 2021 theme. It won’t be up long, basically because of the menu on the desktop. Also, because after Christmas, it won’t be Christmas any longer and a new theme will be needed.
