Patience please.
As with every website, this one is under construction and as such, many functions and features may not be available or functioning. Basically, this little bit of website is a placeholder for the larger one that will be coming.
It used to be populated with thousands of posts, pages and images. When I moved it to a different hosting/provider (I use a company for critical sites and host my own for less critical or large ones), I decided to start fresh.
However, this site (theWALDRIPS.net) and a few others have been put on the back burner until this winter. I have concentrated my computing resources until then, on other projects, such as DripTubes.thewaldrips.net (where I have my photo and picture archive) and DripTubes.thewaldrips.net (a site similar to YouTube and other streamers that contains my video archive).
This site (www.theWALDRIPS.net) will start showing some life probably around mid-December. So check back then or late December.

about DripPics.theWALDRIPS.net
DripPics.thewaldrips.net is a pretty mature site that hosts my photo and picture archive. Actually, it does a little more than that as it also contains categories from my family and friends, churches that I have attended and various other things. But it is primarily about me.
When you get to a group of pictures, at the top level of that group, you will see an image and some perhaps some textual detail. However, unless I have made the images of that group public, they will be protected and you will need an account on DripPics to view them. Contact me about getting an account.
Unfortunately, in today’s world, everyone needs privacy because people do bad things with things. People don’t want their image out there for the world to see. I guess I’m kinda in that category as I don’t really want my ex and her family out keeping tabs on me and my family and I certainly don’t want to give them any fuel for talking about me or mine. So, pretty much anything that actually has people in it (recognizable ones) is protected. The exception may be group pictures.
On that note, please don’t use any pictures in a manner that would be deemed inappropriate/ Thanks for respecting others and myself in this matter.
But there are still a good selection of nature and other type of pictures available to everyone, whether you have an account or not. So, look around and enjoy yourself.
DripTubes.theWALDRIPS.net
DripTubes is a personal site that contains many of my personal videos and a few from family members, church and other people.
Much of the content is protected, meaning you will need an account with appropriate access rights to the content you ware wanting to view.
The DripTubes Cagories
The following are all the categories that I currently have on DripTubes. If you don’t see a category mentioned, then do a search of it. Still can’t bring it up, then you probably don’t have access to that catagory.
- Site Help – Information on how to use the DripTubes website.
- 360 Videos – Videos in 360VR format. Use your mouse to change the view. Use your finger on touch screen devices (or tilt your phone) to do the same. This is best viewed on a computer or tablet.
- 2019 Vacation – Dad, LeeAnne, Kizzy and I visit the Great Smokey Mountains.
- 2022 Vacation – West Interstate 70 and South trip.
- 2023 Vacation – Northwest America trip.
- 2024 vacation – Southwest trip.
- 2025 vacation – Alaska, Yukon and Western Canada.
- 2026 vacation – California and Oregon.
- Celebration of Life – Right now, it just has a videos that I made for Mom’s Celebration of Life. Other peoples will be added as necessary.
- Christmas Lights – Outdoor light displays.
- Eastview Christian Church – Videos from the church. Mostly VSB related.
- Guys Being Guys – I think the name says it all.
- LeeAnne Faith – Despite her not ever having to want anything to do with me or my family, these are videos of hers from various sources. I’ll keep them around for a while longer but will eventually remove them to make space on the server for more of my stuff.
- Mickey and Vernon 8mm videos – The infamous Waldrip Home movies. Mostly of the Waldrip kids growing up. Thanks for the memories Mom and Dad. You can see their 35mm pictures of the Waldrip Family on DripPics.
- Mickey and Vernon Vacations – Mom and Dad borrowed my video camera to take on their trips. Aunt Violet and Uncle Jerry accompanied them on many of their trips.
- Mitchells – 8mm film and 35mm slides of my aunt and uncles family.
- Penrose – Here’s another one; I need to clean this up. 8mm videos that I converted for Mike and Susan.
- Roger – A bunch of my videos.
- Roger’s Protected – A bunch of protected videos, mostly that my Ex and her family doesn’t need to see. They don’t need more fuel and material to talk about and back stab me with.
- Rusty & Sharron – Videos from rusty and Sharron. Currently, just their wedding videos.
- The ‘EX’ Files – These are the movies of my life with my Ex. They are all protected.
- The Hunts – Videos from the several ‘Once In A Lifetime’ hunts a group of us has went on. Mostly OIAL of us on Elk hunts in Colorado.
- Trail cams – Just a collection of trail cam pictures, from the back yard to the deep woods, put together into an easy to view videos.
As with all my sites, if you take things from them, please don’t do anything disrespectable with the material.

Another site that I am working on is my ScienTruth.com website. It is a site dedicated to Creation and Evolution subject material. As with the www.theWALDRIPS.net site, I moved this to a new host and decided to start from scratch. So it is also under construction, currently doesn’t contain much and will hopefully take shape and become relevant early next year.
Also hope to integrate Moodle, the on-line learning CMS platform into ScienTruth so that classes and courses can accompany the material and posts that are made.
