Wilds – Live Web Cams

Best viewed on a tablet or computer

Best viewed with any browser except Microsoft's Edge.  Edge is quite a bit slower loading pages from my website than Chrome and Firefox.  And, as of 29 Mar 2020, I found out that most of the videos on my site don't play within the Edge browser.  Yet Microsoft keeps pushing this clunky, slow and bloated browser.

One thing I have found out that a lot of the live web cam feeds from Youtube come and go quite frequently.  Many times, the live web came is still there but the link has changed.  As such, some of the links to the birds may be broken.  I’ll correct them as soon as I find out about them.

I made this page to be as easy as possible so that Mom and Dad can view the birds without me.  It is frustrating to them when a link doesn’t work and they are finally understanding why it is I(and that it is not my fault).

So continue to come and check out the birds, be patient with me as I try to keep up with the changes and, of course, enjoy.

I have provided a categorized list of links to live web cams; mostly birds.  Mom, Dad and I enjoy watching them.  The eagles are the ugliest chicks but are also the funniest when they get a few days old until they start to fledge.  Don’t get to close to the side of one of there nests; you've been waned.

I thought I would share these links for two reasons.

    1. They’re cool and fun to watch.
    2. So Mom and Dad can look at them on their own.

Mom has gotten bad enough health wise that she hasn’t been able to travel for several years.  It’s even hard on her just to travel around town to go to doctor appointments.  Dad is slowing down but does a little running around with me if Mom (or we) feels like she can be alone.

But to help curb that vain fever, we take virtual tours.  We watch hiking/camping videos from YouTube where people travel the National Parks or other scenic locations.

We also watch these live web cams of birds and sometimes other animals.  Many are pairing up to nest and some have even laid their eggs.  A coupe already have baby birds.

The eaglets are the ugliest but usually provide the best entertainment once they can move around in the nest.  We especially enjoy watching the partner bird fly into the nest (or fly to the nest if the camera is positioned right) bringing in food for the family to eat.

Of course I still gotta get my local animals added to my site below.  I will eventually.

Know of any bird cams (or other animals) I should add?  Let me know.

Panama Fruit Feeder Cam

Mom's favorite.  She calls it the "Bird Aquarium".

**Sometimes, the video feed quits.  When this happens, if leaves a "Hole" in my code and layout.  I haven't put the logic in to work around this (if I even can).  SO if you see a hole, just scroll on down the page and enjoy.  The first one of the eagles is particularly problematic to me.
