Portraits of all the Waldrips that want to be Waldrips. Some family portraits, some individual portraits.
3 generations of Waldrips
No one really wants to get their pictures taken and one didn't even bother to show up.
1986
I can't believe that my family would do a family picture without me. And to think I was protecting their freedom while they were out living it up.

Louella Maxine "Mickey" Waldrip
Also known as 'SweetPea' (Vernon's nickname for her).
I am guessing this is my Junior year school picture based on the following. Mom didn’t place any identifiers on the picture. So, we’ll use some of my police investigative skills on it.
- I don’t have an attention-craving, pulsating zit on the end of my nose that would normally scare anyone off, especially a female girl of the opposite sex (thus I could attract someone and keep them, like Michele). Having cultivated these until the 10th grade, I wouldn’t be any younger than 15.
- I’m not wearing a class ring, so Michele must have it. Thus, I would have to be at least 15 since Michele and I were together all through high school.
- I’m not wearing a necklace with Michele’s class ring upon it which she gave me some time in my junior year (if I remember correctly).
So I believe this to be my junior year picture.

I know where these pictures come from but I don;t know where these pictures come from. Dad usually used 35mm slides. However, there are no 35mm slides of Ronnie and Scott's wedding. So maybe he used 35mm film so that he could provide them pictures. Or maybe someone gave Mom and Dad all of these. Anyhow, just making sure that those that may want these pictures have them, either already in their possession or from this web page.
If anybody needs these, I can try to touch them up or photoshop them if necessary.
I'm not sure where to place these, so this page has become a hodge podge of old relic photos. I'll make mention of places and names if someone has pointed them out to me. If anyone knows additional information, people or places on a particular picture, please met me know.
Some pictures were in really poor shape at the time of scanning and I have done my best to make them view-able. Enjoy.
